Get your Planet Earth onAll of us staffers are huge fans of the BBC’s Planet Earth series. Fighting climate change can be such an uphill battle that it’s always rejuvenating to be reminded of what we’re fighting for. Watching this series is one of our favorite ways to stay focused on the fight. Narrator David Attenborough explains it well:

September's conservation tip is to drive wisely. Driving alone is very inefficient, especially when others are going your way. The average American commuter emits 3.7 tons of CO2 each year just driving to and from work. Sharing the trip with just one other person 2 days a week would save 72 gallons of gas, $250, and 1500 lbs of CO2 each year.
